We sent her off

It was disaster waiting to happen.

  • She boils water in the kettle and lets the cable touch the kettle.
  • She leaves the iron on when I call her.. When asked, she says, "Ibu panggil.."
  • She leaves the gate and doors open.. and if she does lock them, she leave the keys on the door/gate.
  • She doesn’t care what we ask her to do. She does it her way.

  • The day before she left..
I found a knife in the children’s changing room.. left on top of their clothes cabinet. A gentle knock on the cabinet and the knife would fall on the person. I was worried of that person being one of my sons..

I asked he to sit down and showed her what not to put in Aaron's play basket. Without looking she said she knows. I got really mad. She insisted she knows. Irritated, I told her to continue her work. I sat down to check and clean the toy basket which she had dumped some small toy pieces. The next day, she arranges the brother's small toys into Aaron's basket again!

But what triggered us even more is her stubbornness! The next day..
She was giving Nixon. He told her that the water is hot and went on saying it’s not! I tested the water and say that it was hot. I asked her why didn’t she feel it first. She goes on to day it’s not hot. Okay, may be her skin is hard, but why can’t she just listen to the child?! Arrghh!

That’s it. We sent her off the very same day! She was with us for just 3 weeks, but each and everyday that we had her was hell.

    Another apps boy…

He only comes to me when he needs milk (knowing that I am the direct supply), and prefers to go to his father when given a choice. How sad :(

    No more embarrassment..

.. or may be not just yet.

So far, so good, Nixon hasn’t sent us to the optician to mend his glasses. He used to send us to the optician every two days to mend his glasses!

We had actually scared him that he would have to put in the eye drops if he does not wear his glasses or if he breaks it. Scared of the eye drops, he has been taking care of his glasses. What a relief!

The eye drops were administered for Nixon when he had to go for the eye check since he does not know how to read yet.
